President-elect George W. Bush is escorted into the Pentagon by Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen on Jan. 10, 2001. Bush, Vice President-elect Dick Cheney and members of their National Security team will meet with Cohen and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Henry H.
