President-elect George W. Bush is escorted into the Pentagon by Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen on Jan. 10, 2001. Bush, Vice President-elect Dick Cheney and members of their National Security team will meet with Cohen and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Henry H. Shelton, U.S. Army, and be briefed by the Joint Chiefs in the Tank. The Tank is the secure conference room of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
