A native of Afghanistan, the worker wanted to thank Rumsfeld and the U.S. armed forces for their efforts in liberating his country from the grip of the Taliban and those associated with the al Qaeda terrorist organization. Rumsfeld is visiting the site of the Sept. 11th disaster to speak to Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, officials from the N.Y. Fire Department and the Office of Emergency Management.
