A shepherd from the village of Sayad, Afghanistan, herds his sheep into a corral where they will be seen by U.S. Army veterinarians during a Medical Contingency Assistance Program on Nov. 3, 2002. MEDCAP's are providing free medical, dental and veterinary care to some of the local villages here in Afghanistan. They also provide literature on the dangers of unexploded ordnance and why the U.S. is here in their country.
