Rumsfeld tells reporters about the plans for the rotation of forces in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom during a Pentagon press briefing on Nov. 6, 2003. Rumsfeld and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard B. Myers, U.S. Air Force, announced the force rotation, which will include approximately 85,000 active duty and 43,000 reservists from all services.
