Army Sgt. Shawn Monroe looks on as Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz adds an inscription to that of author Andrew Carroll in a copy of the book "War Letters" at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 11, 2003. Wolfowitz visited with wounded soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan before joining President Bush at Arlington National Cemetery for the traditional Veterans Day observances. "War Letters" is a compilation of letters home from American service men and women in all our wars.
