Air Force crew chief Staff Sgt. Robert Stroud pushes back an RQ-1 Predator at Balad Air Base, Iraq, after the completion of one of its sorties over Iraq on Sept. 15, 2004. The RQ-1 is a medium-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle, used as a theater asset for reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition. Stroud is attached to the 46th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron.
