An Army Bradley Fighting Vehicle opens fire with its 25-millimeter machine gun on anti-coalition forces during Operation Baton Rouge in Samarra, Iraq, on Sept. 30, 2004. The soldiers from 1st Platoon, Bravo Troop, 1st Battalion, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, first conducted assaults and then surrounded Samarra sealing it off to keep enemy forces from entering or leaving the town.
