U.S. Navy sailors and Marines perform final checks before launching an F/A-18A Hornet from one of four steam powered catapults on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) on Jan. 24, 2005. Truman and embarked Carrier Air Wing 3 are providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq. The Hornet is assigned to the Marine Strike Fighter Squadron 115.
