A U.S. Navy Landing Craft Air Cushion, more commonly known as an LCAC, kicks up spray as it heads to the Kuwait Naval Base from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) on March 5, 2005. Harpers Ferry is part of Expeditionary Strike Group 3 and is currently deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The LCAC is attached to Assault Craft Unit 5 at Camp Pendleton, Calif., and is deployed aboard the Harpers Ferry.
