U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Chris Edwards (left) talks to Iraqi contractors along the Tigris River north of Baghdad, Iraq, on July 8, 2005. The contractors are installing a water treatment plant that will provide 3 million gallons of potable water daily to residents in Husseiniya, Iraq. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers overseeing the project, which includes the construction of a new raw water intake in the river, two submersible pumps and transmission pipe work. Edwards is attached to the 490th Civil Affairs Battalion.
