Thousands of people are led by a color guard across the Potomac River on the Memorial Bridge during the America Supports You Freedom Walk in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 11, 2005. The walk was held in remembrance of the victims of Sept. 11, 2001, and to honor our servicemen and women working to preserve freedom around the world. The walk began near the Pentagon crash site, past Arlington National Cemetery and proceeded past several National Monuments to conclude on the National Mall by the Reflecting Pool. The participants were invited to attend a musical tribute by country singer and songwriter Clint Black at the end of the walk.
