U.S. Navy sailors from the USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) guide cargo nets full of relief supplies as they are lowered down from the boat deck of the ship onto the pier in Karachi, Pakistan, on Oct. 24, 2005. The dock landing ship is in Karachi to unload 140 tons of disaster relief supplies for Pakistan. The Department of Defense is delivering disaster relief supplies and services as part of a multinational effort to provide aid and support to Pakistan and parts of India and Afghanistan following a devastating earthquake.
