Col. Gregory A. D. Boyle, U.S. Marne Corps, briefs reporters in the Pentagon on the newly established Wounded Warrior Regiment program on April 4, 2007. Boyle commands the Wounded Warrior Regiment from his headquarters in Quantico, Va., providing assistance to ill, injured and wounded Marines and sailors attached to or in support of Marine units and their family members throughout the phases of recovery once they reach outpatient status. The support will include resources and referral for administrative needs and other non-medical needs. There will be two battalions within the regiment, one at Camp Lejeune, N. C., and one at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
