Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Michael Dominguez (right) conducts a Pentagon press conference to announce a new program designed to recognize and compensate personnel for deployments or mobilizations extending beyond the established rotation policy parameters on April 18, 2007. Under the program service members will be awarded administrative absence of from one to four days for each month of extended service depending on the actual length of the extended duty.
