Joint Staff Director for Operations Lt. Gen. Carter Ham, U.S. Army, briefs reporters in the Pentagon on current U.S. military operations around the world on August 16, 2007. Ham pointed out that there are military teams assisting at the Minneapolis bridge collapse, the Utah coal mine cave-in and the navy medical ship USNS Comfort is currently conducting humanitarian medical operations in Ecuador.
