U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Justin Teuscher uses a pick axe to dig a trench for water and sewer lines at Ali Base, Iraq, on Oct. 1, 2008. Teuscher is from the 407th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron's utilities shop, which is laying water and sewer lines in order to leave the base better than they found it when turning the base over to Iraqi forces.
