U.S. Army soldiers from the 349th Combat Support Hospital off-load a mock patient during an exercise at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La., on Aug. 17, 2009. The Joint Readiness Training Center provides realistic training using scenarios that allow integration between joint military organizations, host nations and civilian role-players. Units from the U.S. Air Force, Army and Marine Corps and units from the Canadian and Belgian air forces are training together during the exercise to provide quality care to sick and injured personnel in real-world environments.
