A U.S. Marine attached to Mine-Resistant, Ambush-Protected Company, Regimental Combat Team 3 holds out his hand to an Afghan boy in Helmand province, Afghanistan, on Sept. 19, 2009. The Marines are conducting a convoy to forward operating bases and combat outposts to deliver exchange items, mail and services.
