Medical personnel aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) treat a Haitian boy in the casualty receiving room aboard the ship while underway in the Atlantic Ocean on Jan. 19, 2010. The child was transferred to the Comfort by a helicopter from the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) to receive treatment for injuries sustained during a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on Jan. 12, 2010. The boy, who is in the intensive care unit aboard the Comfort, is in stable condition.
