U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Jay Wamsley holds a Haitian toddler in Laogane, Haiti, during a humanitarian visit to multiple small villages outside Port-Au-Prince on Feb. 2, 2010. Wamsley, an environmental health and safety officer, is temporarily assigned to Port Security Unit 307. Members of Port Security Unit 307 visited a Haitian orphanage and charity run by Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Paul Cormier to donate food and lift the spirits of the children. An estimated 400 people received food donated by Port Security Unit 307.
