U.S. Navy sailors with Five Star Brass, the jazz quintet with the U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band, perform for children at the St. Theresa Early Childhood Centre in Takoradi, Ghana, on March 29, 2010. The musicians were taking part in the dedication of a playground refurbished by the crew of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44). The quintet is embarked aboard the Gunston Hall as part of Africa Partnership Station West, an international initiative developed by Naval Forces Europe and Naval Forces Africa that aims to improve maritime safety and security on the continent.
