U.S. Navy sailors watch an MV-22A Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft take off from the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock USS Ponce (LPD 15) in the Atlantic Ocean on July 12, 2010. The Ponce, part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, is participating in a composite unit training exercise off the East Coast of the United States. Composite unit training is designed to provide realistic training environments for U.S. naval forces that closely replicate the operational challenges routinely encountered during military operations around the world.
