U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Yanina Schiller, a hull maintenance technician assigned to the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), examines welds she made on galvanized pipes for a new fence at a school during a community relations project in Limon, Costa Rica, on Aug. 27, 2010. The Iwo Jima is in Costa Rica in support of Continuing Promise, a humanitarian civic assistance mission. Assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard the ship worked with partner nation teams to provide medical, dental, veterinary and engineering assistance to eight nations.
