U.S. Army soldiers hand out school supplies to Nawabad School.
U.S. Army soldiers assigned to the 10th Mountain Division and Regional Support Command-North and Afghan National Army soldiers assigned to the 209th Corps hand out school supplies to Nawabad School in Deh Dadi district, Afghanistan, on Sept. 30 2010. The school provides secondary education to nearly 1,000 students in the area despite shattered windows and deteriorated wooden ceilings. The classes are so large the school rotates through three shifts each day to accommodate the students.
