U.S. Navy sailors form a daisy chain to unload cases of water from a C-2A Greyhound.
U.S. Navy sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) and embarked Carrier Air Wing 14 form a daisy chain to unload cases of water from a C-2A Greyhound assigned to Fleet Logistics Combat Support Squadron 30 on Nov. 9, 2010. The Ronald Reagan was diverted from its current training maneuvers at the direction of Commander U.S. Third Fleet and at the request of the U.S. Coast Guard to a position south near the Carnival cruise ship to facilitate the delivery of 4,500 pounds of supplies to the cruise ship. Early Monday CV Splendor reported it was dead in the water 150 nautical miles southwest of San Diego.
