U.S. Navy Airman David Chitwood takes a fuel sample from a sponson aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during a replenishment at sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Guadalupe (T-AO 200) on Jan. 7, 2011. A total of 36 fuel samples were taken during the replenishment at sea to make sure the fuel received was clean. The Ronald Reagan was underway in the Pacific Ocean in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
