Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates meets with Canadian Defense Minister Peter MacKay at the Old City Hall in Ottawa, Canada, on Jan. 27, 2011. Gates is in Canada to attend trilateral meetings with his counterparts from Canada and Mexico, but the Mexican Defense Minister fell ill and could not attend the meetings.
