An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter transports humanitarian assistance supplies from the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Matthew Perry (T-AKE 9) to the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) in the Philippine Sea on March 15, 2011. The Essex is underway to Japan to provide humanitarian assistance as directed in support of Operation Tomodachi.
