Airmen work alongside a team of Japanese medical workers to unload food, water and medical supplies from a pair of HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters at Yokota Air Base, Japan, on March 20, 2011. Airmen from the 33rd Rescue Squadron transported supplies to displaced people in Kessenuma City, in support of Operation Tomodachi, the U.S. military's humanitarian and relief effort in response to the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11. Kessenuma experienced massive destruction from the earthquake and tsunami.
