A C-130H Hercules aircraft equipped with the Modular Airborne Firefighting System drops a line of fire retardant in west Texas on April 27, 2011. The C-130 crew is assigned to the 302nd Airlift Wing, Colorado Springs Air Force Reserve. The modular system is capable of dispensing 3,000 gallons of water or fire retardant in less than five seconds.
