An amphibious assault vehicle carrying U.S. Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit returns to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Whidbey Island (LSD 41) after taking part in an international exercise in the Atlantic Ocean on June 29, 2011. The Whidbey Island was deployed as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group participating in the Spanish Amphibious Landing Exercise off the coast of Spain.
