Petty Officer 2nd Class Tommy Neely holds his son after returning home from a seven-month independent deployment aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96) in Norfolk, Va., on Aug. 5, 2011. The Bainbridge completed an independent deployment to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility in support of Operations Ocean Shield and Ketting III.
