Sailors prepare an F/A-18C Hornet for flight operations aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) as the ship operates in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility on Sept. 20, 2011. The Stennis is conducting maritime security operations and support missions as part of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn. The Hornet is attached to Strike Fighter Squadron 192.
