A U.S. Navy sailor removes the cap from an AIM-9 missile attached to an F/A-18C Hornet aircraft aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in the Arabian Gulf on Dec. 3, 2011. The John C. Stennis is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations and support missions as part of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.
