A U.S. Navy sailor provides medical care to a rescued Moroccan mariner aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) in the Mediterranean Sea on Jan. 24, 2012. Sailors assigned to the ship and embarked Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit picked up a group of Moroccans whose vessel had capsized three days earlier. The Mesa Verde is deployed as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
