Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta and Chinese Minister of National Defense Gen. Liang Guanglie participate in an honors ceremony for Panetta in Beijing, China, on Sept. 18, 2012. Panetta and Liang will meet to discuss regional security issues of interest to both nations. Panetta visited Tokyo, Japan, before continuing to Beijing and will travel to Auckland, New Zealand, on a weeklong trip to the Pacific.
