The USS Freedom is conducting sea trials in the Pacific
The littoral combat ship USS Freedom (LCS 1) is conducting sea trials in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Southern California on Feb. 22, 2013. The ship is painted in a new camouflage paint scheme of haze gray, haze white, flat black and ocean gray. Freedom deploys on March 1st to the Western Pacific to conduct maritime security operations and participate in international exhibitions and exercises that will highlight U.S. strategic intent in the region.
