Sixty Iraqi policemen graduated the Italian Carabinieri Advanced Police Course in Baghdad, bringing the total trained to 17,601. Also, members of the Latvian armed forces joined the Danish troops who are training Iraqi forces at Al Asad Air Base. Training at the sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi personnel to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
