The soldiers are assigned to the 16th Sustainment Brigade and 173rd Brigade Support Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade. Saber Junction 16 is designed to evaluate the readiness of the Army’s Europe-based combat brigades to conduct unified land operations and promote interoperability in a joint, multinational environment.
