Silver Stars
In one of her last official major duties as Air Force secretary, Deborah Lee James applauds after presenting Air Force Col. Christopher C. Barnett two Silver Star medals at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., Jan. 19, 2017. Barnett had received the Distinguished Flying Cross for valor for actions in Afghanistan in 2009.
