Soldiers assess an area of critical infrastructure in a disaster response scenario to support Operation Vigilant Guard on St. Croix, Virgin Islands, May 16, 2017. The soldiers are assigned to assigned to the West Virginia Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 150th Aviation Regiment and 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group. They went to St. Thomas and St. Croix to train with the Virgin Islands National Guard. The U.S. Northern Command sponsored the full-scale exercise and the National Guard Bureau supported it.
