Philippine Marines train on American base for first time ever
Philippine Marines with Assault Armor Battalion practice tossing a rope from one amphibious assault vehicle to another during egress training at Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, July 18, 2017. This was the first time the Philippine military conducted training at an American base. The Philippine Marine Corps recently purchased AAVS and were working with U.S. Marines to learn different amphibious procedures -- such as hand signaling, egress training and water operations.
