USS Utah
The battleship USS Utah lies capsized and burning as the cruiser USS Raleigh lists in the background at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Dec. 7, 1941. The Utah was struck by two torpedoes in the first minutes of the attack and quickly capsized. The Raleigh, struck by a torpedo, stayed afloat but was heavily damaged. Navy photo
