The Combined Federal Campaign is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 130 CFCs located everywhere federal employees work. Last year, military, civilian and postal employees contributed more than $180 million to more than 20,000 local, national and international charities. Members of the military and Defense Department civilians accounted for more than $80 million of that total. Once again this year, Defense Department employees worldwide have the opportunity to give to their favorite charities from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31. #showsomelovecfc

For the seventh year, the Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas partnered with the Department of Defense Education Activity to run an Elementary School Art Contest.
Participation is entirely voluntary and is encouraged as a 'homework' assignment thereby involving parents and rippling the campaign message through the community. Hundreds of submissions were received from over 15 schools. Contestants were judged by a panel of DoD members based in Washington, D.C. based on artistic merit, creativity and depiction of the theme. First through third place winners were chosen in each grade level.
All participating students received a sticker and a certificate of achievement signed by the CFC-O Executive Director, Victoria Adams. The first-place winners in each grade will receive a framed copy of their original artwork. All winners will be promoted via press releases, on the CFC-O website and via social media. Winning artwork will be featured in CFC-O promotional materials throughout 2016.
